AYER: It was standing room only in Meeting Room 1 of the Ayer Town Hall when Ms. Lillie Jackson arrived to receive a very special honor: The awarding of The Boston Post Cane. Ms. Jackson already had us all laughing as she took her seat. Someone in the room said, “I hope you don’t mind having your picture taken.”
